Fees
Pool Fees
Haddington and District Amateur Swimming Club
Swimmers in Squads 1, 2 and 3 swim between two and four times a week. The fees are as follows:
- Swimming twice a week: £25.00
- Swimming three times a week: £32.00
- Swimming four times a week: £40.00
A discount of £2.00 applies for siblings.
Pool fees are reviewed annually and set at the Club's Annual General Meeting in September. To cover increasing costs, the Club's pool fees have been increased by £5 per month w.e.f 1st November 2011. (The above fees include this increase.)
East Lothian Swim Team (ELST)
- D Squad: £10.00
- C Squad: £57.00
- A and B Squad:£72.00
A discount of £10.00 applies for siblings in A,B and C Squads.
All pool fees are payable monthly by Standing Order. To download the Standing Order form click here or contact the Treasurer at Treasurer@swimhaddington.co.uk for a copy.
This monthly fee includes a contribution to the swimmer’s Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (SASA) subscription. The amount currently collected is £3.30 per month.
Members who have an East Lothian Council Leisure Pass Plus can have their fees reduced by £3 per month. A copy of the Pass must be passed to the Treasurer every year.
Competition Fees
Swimmers will be notified by e-mail of their acceptance to swim in an event and a notice will also be placed on the Club notice-board at the Aubigny Centre. The competition fee is payable when that notification is sent out and must be paid to the Club as soon as possible. The amount due will be included in the e-mail notification. (Note: No fee is payable for Team events.) Please see below for ways to pay.
Social Events
Amounts due for social events must be paid in advance. Please see below for ways to pay.
Ways to pay
Competition fees/payments for social events can be paid in one of the following ways:
- Direct to the Club’s bank account – by increasing your standing order for the month or making a ‘one off’ payment (Bank of Scotland, 44 Court Street, Haddington, sort code 80-08-23, account number 000437400) quoting as the reference the swimmer’s name and competition name/tsocial event.
- By cash or cheque (payable to H & D ASC) - enclose the payment in a sealed envelope marked for the Treasurer’s attention. Hand this to the Assistant Treasurer - Jackie Crawford - or to one of the Kit ladies - Mary McGavigan or Carolyn Green - who can usually be found in the cafe at the Aubigny Centre on Wednesday and/or Friday nights.
Club Championships
To swim in the annual Club Championships, all fees due for the pool, competitions, social events and purchase of kit must be up to date.
