Kit for Competition

  • Swimming Costume or Trunks
  • Towel - more than one if swimming in several sessions
  • Cap - Club cap should be worn at all competitions involving other clubs.
  • Goggles - plus one pair pair, properly adjusted and named on strap.
  • Food - Take all food and drink that you will need   with you. Take food that will be easily digested - no chips, cream cakes or fizzy drinks! Do not eat just before you swim. There is usually no eating allowed on poolside. A water bottle with water or dilute juice can be used on poolside. No glass bottles for safety reasons.

Poolside Clothing

  • Flip-flops or clean trainers
  • T-Shirt to keep upper body warm. Large size for freedom of movement. Club ones available
  • Tracksuit trousers to keep legs warm
