Swimmers will be expected to represent the Club in competitions when selected. Swimmers who cannot attend a competition must call off in good time and contact the CompetitionSecretary, Competitions@swimhaddington.co.uk, as soon as possible. Any unexplained non-attendance may result in future non-selection.
When representing Haddington in competitions swimmers should wear the current Club kit - Club swimming costume/trunks and cap.
On attaining a suitable standard swimmers will be expected to enter appropriate Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (SASA)competitions and time trials such as East District Championships, etc.
Swimmers are expected to train regularly with the Club. An unexplained absence of three weeks or more may result in him/her being removed from the register.
Swimmers must behave accordingly on poolside at all times and in particular they must: - Always obey coaches instructions. - Never leave poolside without coach's permission. - Observe all East Lothian's Council rules for poolside behaviour. - Use lockers for clothes and belongings - do not leave anything in the cubicles. - Shower thoroughly before entering the pool. - Do not sit or hang on the lane ropes.
